At Great Tew Primary School, we believe that every child should feel valued, supported and able to flourish as an individual. We are proud to be an inclusive school community where children are known well, nurtured carefully and encouraged to develop confidence, curiosity and independence.
We recognise that some children may need additional support at different points in their school journey. Our approach to Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) is rooted in close partnership with children, parents and carers, alongside outside agencies and professionals where appropriate. We know that children make the best progress when school and home work together positively and openly.
Our SEND Policy explains how we identify and support pupils with SEND, the responsibilities of staff and governors, and the systems we have in place to promote both educational progress and emotional wellbeing.

We understand that navigating SEND can sometimes feel overwhelming for families.
