The Pupil Premium Grant is additional funding given to publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and close the gap between them and their peers.
The school currently receives Pupil Premium for the following pupils:
- Pupils who are eligible for free school meals on grounds of low income (or who have been eligible in the last 6 years)
Schools have the freedom to spend the premium in a way that they think will best support the raising of achievement for their pupils. Please see the information below to find out how we spend the money and the impact of this spending.

If your child does not have free school meals, but you think that they may be eligible because of your family’s circumstances or income level, please contact the school office and ask for a registration form. Even if you do not take up free school meals, but are eligible for them, your child will be able to benefit from pupil premium support as outlined above.
