Children from Years 1 to 6 have a minimum of two one-hour PE lessons every week.

The Sport Premium was introduced by the government to fund improvements in the provision of PE and sport activities for the benefit of primary-aged pupils so that they develop healthy lifestyles.

A wealth of sports festivals and competitive tournaments are arranged through the Chipping Norton Partnership of Schools as can be seen here and children from Years 2 to 6 have the opportunity to represent Great Tew in a sporting event every year.

The information below gives details of our PE and School Sport Premium Grant, our aims and intentions and how we allocate the funding to improve opportunities for our pupils.
